The victim’s classmates, instead of helping, watched and recorded the images of violence with their cellphones
A new incident of brutal beating of a 14-year-old student at a school in Heraklion, Crete, by another minor, described as extracurricular, under the gaze of his classmates who, instead of helping, watched and recorded the images of violence, is shocking.
The video was even uploaded online. In the video, the 14-year-old student of the 2nd High School can be seen being severely beaten, while the other students urge the assailant to continue the beatings. “Play him, step on him, punch him” they repeat constantly, without anyone intervening to save the unfortunate victim from the blows he receives.
The perpetrator reaches the point of stepping on the 14-year-old, with the rest of the students applauding. Only when the 14-year-old now appears to be almost passed out, one of the students steps in to stop the beating. The student who was beaten, a few hours later was examined in a hospital, fortunately without serious injuries.
