The volume of transactions reached 86.04 million euros
Upward trends prevailed in today’s meeting Stock Exchange, with the market returning above 1,420 points, amid upward movement in European markets as well.
The General Price Index closed at 1,423.56 points, marking an increase of 1.17%.
The value of the transactions fluctuated today below the level of 100 million euros and amounted to 86.04 million euros, while 20,142,321 shares were traded.
The large-cap index rose 1.35%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.47%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Viohalco (+4.39%), Alpha Bank (+3.21%), Lamda Development (+2.37%), Aegean (+2, 31%), Piraeus (+2.10%) and Ellactor (+2.01%).
On the contrary, the shares of Sarantis (-2.68%), Eurobank (-0.72%) and Motor Oil (-0.26%) fell.
Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 6,397,872 and 3,846,276 shares, respectively.
The highest value of transactions was recorded by Eurobank with 13.15 million euros and National Bank with 11.74 million euros.
75 stocks moved up, 26 down and 19 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Akritas +20.55% and Attica Participations +7.92%.
The biggest fall was registered by the shares: Prodea -9.87% and Minerva – 7.56%.
