Who are the beneficiaries?
On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the summer program ends camping period 2024 both for children with typical development and for children with disabilities, which is carried out exclusively electronically on the e-EFKA website https://www.efka.gov.gr/el/elektronikes-yperesies/aiteseis-kataskenoseon-2024.
Parents can choose up to five camps in order of priority, after certified access with the TAXIS codes on the above electronic platform. The total number of places offered in the 2024 camp program amounts to 36,000 places for all camp periods.
It is noted that, this year, in his camp program e-EFKA inclusive camps will operate for the first time, i.e. children of typical development and children with disabilities will be together.
As stated in a relevant announcement, this action is part of the framework of an inclusive society, where the equal participation of people with disabilities in the community, the recognition and respect of their diversity, are a high priority. This applies to the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th periods. There is still the 6th period, which concerns exclusively children with disabilities, with limited places.
The camp program concerns indirect members, aged 6 to 16, of specific categories of e-EFKA insured and pensioners, as well as children of e-EFKA employees, for the following periods of time:
– the 1st camp period (15/6/2024-30/6/2024) for children of typical development and for children with disabilities
– the 2nd camp period (1/7/2024-15/7/2024) exclusively for children of typical development
– the 3rd camp period (16/7/2024-30/7/2024) for children of typical development and for children with disabilities
– the 4th camp season (31/7/2024-14/8/2024) for children of typical development and for children with disabilities
– the 5th camp period (15/8/2024-29/8/2024) for children of typical development and for children with disabilities
– the 6th camp period (25/08/2024-3/9/2024) concerns exclusively children with disabilities and includes a limited number of places.
There may be slight deviations of the above dates per camping company. In any case, however, the period of stay at the camp company is 15 days for children of typical development and 10 days for children with disabilities.
