“I was trying to hide my body with loose clothes and I felt really bad”
In the new episode for the Protagonists with Stavros Theodorakis, the guest was Panagiota Vlantis, on Thursday night, at Alpha. The stunning starlet was asked to explain why she didn’t like the way certain people approached her appearance early in her career.
In particular, Panagiota Vlanti noted that “I didn’t have a good relationship with the mirror, I wasn’t the “school girl”. My sister was the star, I was a quiet child and in dress. Quiet, very low key. It didn’t concern me, I didn’t have a good relationship with the mirror and I wasn’t proud of myself.”
“The role of Silvis comes to record, among all others, the sexiest woman in this 20 years of private television” the host underlined to position his guest as follows. “Not expecting. It was a sexy role, yes, but I didn’t expect it to take so long. It shocked me a bit, I must tell you. Even today, they call me Panagiota on the street, but Silvi is the role they love the most. I have done a lot of good jobs afterwards, as well as theater, but they have stuck in Silvi.”
“Beauty, in whatever job you go, is acceptable but at the same time it sometimes backfires. You always have to prove something, fight to convince others that you are not only beautiful. There used to be a rumor, long before me, that a beautiful and delicious actress is not necessarily a good one. I felt guilty about beauty, of course. When I first entered the school, some people told me “come on kid, you have to show your face” and that bothered me,” added Panagiota Vlantis in the conversation she had with Stavros Theodorakis on Thursday night.
“So I was always chasing roles of mothers and grandmothers at school, hiding my body in baggy clothes. I felt very bad, they had made me feel bad.”
