Erdogan-Trump Meeting in The Hague

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet with US President Donald Trump tonight, June 24, in The Hague, on the sidelines of the NATO Summit.
The meeting is scheduled for 23:30 Greek time (22:30 Dutch time) and marks the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders after Donald Trump's re-election.
According to a Bloomberg report, diplomatic circles indicate that the meeting is an attempt to "reset" bilateral relations, which have been tested in recent years due to disagreements on issues such as Syria, the purchase of S-400s, and the F-35 program.
The meeting takes place amidst efforts to de-escalate tensions in relations between the two countries.
