Two military bases in Iraq were targeted by drone attacks in the early hours of the morning. The first attack targeted the Imam Ali air base in the Dhi Qar province, while the second targeted the military base in Taji, north of Baghdad.

According to security sources, the drone that struck the Imam Ali air base targeted the communications center where the radars are installed, causing material damage. In Taji, the drone targeted anti-aircraft radars.

Iraqi officials reported that there were no injuries in the attack on Taji. General Saad Maan, a spokesman for the Iraqi security forces, said that one drone bombed a radar and another crashed near a generator.

So far, it is not known who is responsible for the attacks. Authorities are continuing investigations to determine the origin of the drones and the perpetrators.

Walid al-Tamimi, operations manager in the Iraqi capital region, confirmed the raid on the Taji base.
