Olympiacos /Omiilos Xyni Wins Greek Handball Championship

Olympiacos /Omiilos Xyni has won its fifth Greek Handball Championship in history, with Anoteres Scholes ALFA as its Proud Education Sponsor. In the fifth and final match of the Handball Premier League, the team prevailed over AEK at the OAKA stadium with a score of 32-30, securing a 3-2 victory in the finals.

The Olympiacos /Omiilos Xyni team has won a total of 4 Greek Championships (2018, 2019, 2022, 2024), 3 Greek Cups (2018, 2019, 2023) and 3 Super Cups (2022, 2023, 2024).

The Men's Handball team of Scholes IEK Xyni was founded on September 5, 1985. In 1995, it won the Greek Cup, defeating Filippos Verias. In 2014, it was renamed I.IEK Xyni Dikeas and later IEK Xyni N.I. (Nea Ionia).

As IEK Xyni N.I., the team won the 2016-2017 Greek Championship. In July 2017, the team merged with OLYMPIAKOS S.F.P. and continues as OLYMPIAKOS/OMILOS XYNI, with SAEK ALFA as Education Sponsor.
