Stratos Tzortzoglou: "My love with Dimitra Matsouka was destructive"

In an interview, Stratos Tzortzoglou described his love affair with Dimitra Matsouka as destructive, stating that their relationship had intense scenes of jealousy and conflict.
The actor, speaking to the magazine "Loipon", stated that Dimitra Matsouka held him in high esteem. Specifically, he mentioned: "I had a very good time with Dimitra and it was a great school of life for me. She had great love for me. She told me that she puts me below her mother, imagine. It was, of course, a destructive love. We had many scenes of jealousy. We made mistakes, but we really loved each other. It was a love in the red, like blood".
Furthermore, Stratos Tzortzoglou stated that he has not been in contact with Dimitra Matsouka for the last twenty years, specifically since 2005. "There is a distance from 2005. I also made three gaffes, that's the truth. When we met at some theatrical performances, I didn't recognize her. For some reason, this chapter had closed in my head, I saw her in front of me and I couldn't recognize her," he said characteristically.
The actor clarified that Dimitra Matsouka was not offended when he did not recognize her, explaining that he simply did not understand her at that moment. "No, she wasn't offended. It's just that for some reason I didn't understand her. Maybe my brain went blank at that moment. I greeted her of course and everything was fine," he stated.
