Air-conditioned spaces open in the Municipality of Athens due to heatwave
The Municipality of Athens is activating air-conditioned spaces to protect citizens from high temperatures. From Wednesday, June 25, the seven Friendship Clubs will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to serve the public.
The Friendship Clubs that will be available are:

In addition, the municipality has taken measures to protect the homeless and stray animals, and a recommendation has been issued to avoid throwing garbage during midday hours.
