Aris close to Athanasiadis and Alvaro

Aris is in advanced talks to acquire goalkeeper Giorgos Athanasiadis, who was released from AEK Larnaca. The two sides are in a verbal agreement for a two-year contract.

Athanasiadis' case arose after the transfer of Belgian goalkeeper Kaminski fell through. If the transfer is completed, Aris will have Athanasiadis and Cuesta as a goalkeeper duo, while Sidklev's future remains uncertain.

Meanwhile, Pedro Alvaro is in Thessaloniki to undergo medical and ergometric examinations. The Portuguese defender is expected to sign a three-year contract, becoming Aris' third transfer after Fatiga and Donis.

Aris aims to complete the main roster strengthening moves ahead of the preparation in the Netherlands, aiming to present a competitive team in the new season.
