57-Year-Old Sentenced to Six Years for Two Kilos of Cannabis

The Criminal Court of Famagusta sentenced a 57-year-old man to six years in prison after finding him guilty in a drug case.

The 57-year-old was arrested on February 1, 2025, in Larnaca. During the arrest, approximately two kilograms of cannabis were found in his possession.

According to the police, the arrest occurred during a search of the suspect's vehicle in an area of Larnaca. Two packages containing cannabis, weighing approximately two kilograms in total, as well as a small amount of cocaine, were found.
