AKEL: Election Results and Composition of the New Central Committee

AKEL announced the details regarding the election and composition of the new Central Committee (C.C.). According to the announcement, over 1/3 of the members are elected for the first time.
The average age of the C.C. members is 48 years, while the percentage of women slightly increased, reaching 23%. Giorgos Loukaidis was elected first in votes, followed by Stefanos Stefanou.
829 delegates participated in the voting process, with 8 invalid ballots and 821 valid ones. The detailed results are listed in order of ranking and number of votes for the elected members.
