The U.S. Department of Justice has announced that a letter purportedly sent by Jeffrey Epstein to Larry Nassar is fake. The letter, which was included in a recent release of documents related to Epstein, stated that Donald Trump "likes young and attractive girls."

According to the Department of Justice, the handwriting does not match that of Epstein. Furthermore, the letter bears a postmark dated three days after Epstein's death.

The FBI confirmed that the letter was fake, as it was received by the jail and flagged immediately. The FBI's investigation concluded the following:

  • The handwriting does not match that of Epstein.
  • The letter is postmarked three days after Epstein's death in Northern Virginia, while he was imprisoned in New York.
  • The sender's address did not mention the prison where Epstein was held and did not include his inmate number.

Larry Nassar is serving a prison sentence for sexual abuse. Donald Trump has denied any knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal activities.
