Trump Considers Tariff Revenue Dividend for Americans

Donald Trump is considering distributing a dividend to Americans from tariff revenues. In statements, he mentioned that the people have “had to suffer through stupid leadership” and that paying a dividend is a possibility.

"There's a possibility. Primarily, we want to pay down debt, but there's a possibility we take a piece of it and give a dividend to the people," Trump stated. He had alluded to the possibility in early August, suggesting the dividend could go to middle and lower-income individuals.
