Donald Trump has stated that he 'probably' will not run for president of the United States again, despite claiming that people 'love his tariffs.' In an interview with CNBC, Trump mentioned that he would like to run, but the U.S. Constitution prohibits anyone from being elected for a third term.

Trump also disputed polls showing a decline in his popularity, claiming that he sees many 'fake polls.' According to a TIME magazine survey, Trump's approval rating among adult Americans was just 37% in late July.

Despite the ban on a third term, Trump has left open the possibility of finding ways to run again. His supporters have appeared at rallies chanting slogans such as 'Four more years,' while the Trump Organization sells hats and t-shirts with the inscription 'Trump 2028.'
