Sergeant Arrested in US for Shooting Incident at Military Base

A 28-year-old sergeant has been arrested in connection with a shooting at Fort Stewart military base in Georgia, USA. The 28-year-old US Army non-commissioned officer was arrested yesterday for the shooting incident that injured five soldiers at Fort Stewart base in Georgia, USA.
Brigadier General John Lubas, commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, said it remains unknown why 28-year-old Sergeant Cornelius Radford shot other soldiers, clarifying that the weapon he used was not a service weapon.
According to information from the Fort Stewart administration, five soldiers were shot and, after receiving first aid, were taken to a military hospital for further medical care. Fort Stewart military base is located approximately 64 kilometers southwest of the city of Savannah in Georgia.
