Fatal Bus Accident in New York: Tour Bus Overturns

A tour bus overturned on a highway in New York State, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries. The accident occurred when the bus, carrying approximately 50 passengers and returning to New York City from Niagara Falls, went into a ditch.

According to police, the bus overturned after losing control for "unknown reasons." Several people were trapped, while others were ejected from the vehicle. Authorities are responding to the scene, and rescue operations are underway.

"We believe there is a child who has lost their life," a police spokesperson stated. The bus carried 52 people, including the driver. Most of the passengers were Indian, Chinese, and Filipino. The accident occurred on Highway 90, near the town of Pembroke, east of Buffalo. The state Thruway is closed in both directions near the accident site.
