Teacher Faces New Charges in Student Sex Abuse Case

New allegations have surfaced against a 31-year-old teacher, Brittan Fortinberry, who now faces 47 charges of sexually abusing students in Indiana.

A new complainant claims that Fortinberry invited him to her home, where they used drugs and had sexual contact. The complainant reported that he slept in her children's room, while the teacher slept with her husband.

According to the complainant, Fortinberry allegedly had sexual relations with other teenagers and supplied them with drugs. The charges against her include multiple felonies for child abuse, with a potential prison sentence of up to 40 years.

The case began in August 2024, when the grandmother of an alleged victim reported the teacher to the police.
