Matthew Perry: Doctor Pleads Guilty to Ketamine Supply

One of the doctors accused of supplying ketamine to Matthew Perry has pleaded guilty. Dr. Salvador Plascencia, who operated a clinic in California, faces up to ten years in prison for each of the four charges.
Dr. Plascencia allegedly supplied Perry with ketamine at his home and other locations, and is also accused of teaching Perry's assistant how to administer the drug.
Perry was receiving legal quantities of the drug for depression but desired a larger amount. According to court documents, he was supplied with at least 20 vials of ketamine between September 30 and October 12.
The announcement was made by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 3.
Matthew Perry, known for the series Friends, was found dead in October 2023. The autopsy showed that the combination of ketamine with other factors caused him to lose consciousness and drown.
