Los Angeles: Trump Administration Demands $1 Billion from UCLA

The Trump administration is demanding $1 billion from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) due to pro-Palestinian protests in 2024.
Additionally, it is demanding $172 million in compensation to Jewish students who suffered discrimination or intimidation.
James Milliken, president of the UC network, stated that such a payment would destroy California's public university system.
The Trump administration has also frozen grants to Columbia and an agreement is expected with Harvard for $500 million.
