Trump Administration to Release Epstein Case Files

The Trump administration has announced the release of "many hundreds of thousands of documents" related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, who was convicted of sex crimes. The release follows relevant legislation.
According to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blance, the documents will be released gradually, with the first hundreds of thousands being published immediately and additional material to follow in the coming weeks. Blance stressed that the delay is due to the need to protect victims.
Observers expect that part of the documents will be censored to protect sensitive information and names. Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell in New York in August 2019, before being tried for sex crimes, which sparked conspiracy theories.
Donald Trump had initially opposed the release of the documents, but eventually ratified the relevant law in November.
