US: 28-Year-Old Sergeant Arrested for Fort Stewart Shooting

A 28-year-old U.S. Army sergeant was arrested today in connection with the shooting incident that injured five soldiers at Fort Stewart in Georgia, USA.
Brigadier General John Lubas, commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, said the reason why 28-year-old Sergeant Cornelius Radford shot other soldiers remains unknown, clarifying that the weapon used was not a service weapon.
According to information from the Fort Stewart command, five soldiers were shot and taken to a military hospital for further medical care.
The Fort Stewart military base is located approximately 64 kilometers southwest of the city of Savannah in Georgia.
