Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton, have been called to testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 after being charged with sex trafficking.

The Committee reportedly describes a "close relationship" between the Clinton family, Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of conspiracy to recruit underage girls for sexual abuse by Epstein.

Bill Clinton traveled on Epstein's private plane, also known as the "Lolita Express," in 2002, along with others such as Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker. The trip aimed to promote the initiative to combat AIDS.

Epstein had donated $1,000 to Clinton's election campaign in 1992 and $20,000 to Hillary Clinton's campaign for the U.S. Senate in 1999. Additionally, Epstein and Maxwell visited the White House 17 times during Clinton's term.

Clinton has downplayed his relationship with Epstein, while his legal team denies that he visited "Pedophile Island." However, Virginia Roberts Giuffre claimed to have seen Clinton on the island.

After Epstein's death, a painting was found in his mansion depicting Clinton wearing a blue dress resembling the one worn by Monica Lewinsky.
