Explosion in Manhattan: Smoke Cloud Covers New York City

A powerful explosion occurred in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, causing disruption. A thick cloud of smoke rose into the sky.
Photos and videos from eyewitnesses flooded social networks, showing residents evacuating. The explosion was reported near 305 East 95th Street, close to Central Park, around 10:00 AM local time.
More than 100 firefighters are operating at the scene. The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) described the operation as a '3rd-degree fire.' Witnesses reported hearing a loud bang before the fire broke out.
