A gunman opened fire at a church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, next to a Catholic school, killing two children aged 8 and 10. Seventeen people were injured, fourteen of whom are children. Two injured are in critical condition.

The perpetrator, who carried three weapons, committed suicide. According to the Police, the perpetrator is 23-year-old Robin Westman, who identifies as a woman. The perpetrator's motives remain unknown.

At the time of the attack, many students were attending church. The perpetrator was shooting through the windows. The FBI is conducting an investigation into a possible hate crime against Catholics.

President Trump called the attack tragic.
