Diddy: Rapper's Bail Request Denied by Judge

A New York federal judge has denied Diddy's request for release pending his sentencing in October. Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that the defendant poses a threat to the safety of others or the community.

The judge explained that there were no 'exceptional reasons' to justify the release. This followed a letter from his former partner, Virginia 'Gina' Huynh, requesting his release.

Diddy has been found guilty of transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution, but was acquitted of sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit extortion.
