Epstein Files: 'Decoy Corpse' Used to Fool Journalists

New details from the Jeffrey Epstein files reveal that prison guards used a 'decoy corpse' to mislead journalists outside the jail after his death. According to the files released by the U.S. Department of Justice, Epstein's real body was secretly removed in another vehicle.
According to an internal memo, guards at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York placed boxes and sheets in a white van marked with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, while the real body was transported in a black vehicle.
The files also reveal that a handwritten note was found in Epstein's cell, containing complaints about the food, showers, and insects. The coroner did not consider it a suicide note.
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019, while facing charges of trafficking minors for sexual exploitation. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging, but this conclusion has been questioned.
