21-Year-Old Identified as Mar-a-Lago Perimeter Breacher

A 21-year-old from North Carolina, named Austin Tucker Martin, has been identified as the man who breached the security perimeter at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort and was killed by agents. Martin had been reported missing in recent days.
Secret Service agents and police officers shot and killed him near the north gate of Trump's residence around 1:30 AM.
White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt stated that the Secret Service "acted quickly and decisively." Security services have not disclosed information regarding the perpetrator's motive. The FBI has taken over the investigation.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said he spoke with Trump after the incident.
