Yemen: Explosion at Power Plant

In Yemen, the Houthi television network announced that a power plant south of the capital Sanaa was hit. Crews are working to extinguish the fire caused by the incident.

According to residents of Sanaa, two explosions were heard earlier today. The Israeli Navy claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that it targeted an energy infrastructure facility serving the Houthi regime.

Israel states it is bombing targets in Yemen in retaliation for Houthi attacks.
