Hezbollah has warned that it will violate the 'yellow line' demarcated by Israel in southern Lebanon. According to statements by a Hezbollah MP, the movement will not stand idly by in the face of Israeli violations.

Hassan Fadlallah stated that Hezbollah would violate the yellow line, citing its right to defend the country. This statement was made after the Israeli army established the 'yellow line' in southern Lebanon, following the start of a 10-day ceasefire.

Fadlallah reiterated the rejection of direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel and called on Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to abandon these negotiations. He also stressed that Hezbollah had informed Iran of the Israeli attacks in order to inform Pakistan, the mediator between the US and Iran.

The Hezbollah MP called for Israel's withdrawal from southern Lebanon, the return of the displaced, the release of prisoners, and a reconstruction plan for the destroyed areas. Hezbollah will not accept any agreement that would restore the situation after the 2024 ceasefire.

Fadlallah called on the Lebanese state to redeploy the army in the south and exert pressure to consolidate the ceasefire. He also stated that no one would be able to disarm Hezbollah.
