Hamas Releases Video of Israeli-German Hostage in Gaza

Hamas has released a video featuring an Israeli-German hostage held in Gaza. The 24-year-old Alon Ohel appears in a Hamas video for the second time since the beginning of the month. He was abducted from the Supernova music festival on October 7, 2023.

In the footage released by the Ezzedin al-Qassam Brigades, Ohel addresses Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging him to secure the release of all hostages. He is also heard asking his family to continue protesting against Netanyahu.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum has asked the media not to publish his photo or excerpts from the video. Of the 251 hostages abducted on October 7, 2023, 47 remain in Gaza, while the Israeli military estimates that 25 of them are dead.
