Trump: Won't Tolerate Netanyahu Trial Continuation

US President Donald Trump stated he will not “tolerate” the continuation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption trial, which he has already demanded be canceled “immediately.”
“The U.S. spends billions of dollars a year, far more than any other nation, to protect and support Israel,” Donald Trump emphasized via Truth Social, adding that he will not tolerate this.
Benjamin Netanyahu is “negotiating a deal with Hamas, which will include the release of hostages. How can Israel’s Prime Minister be dragged into a courtroom all day for NOTHING?” Trump questioned.
An Israeli court rejected a request from Netanyahu's defense to postpone the hearings of his trial for corruption, fraud, and breach of trust. Netanyahu denies the charges.
In the first case, he is accused of, along with his wife Sara Netanyahu, accepting luxury gifts worth over $260,000 from billionaires in exchange for political favors. In the other two cases, Netanyahu is accused of negotiating to secure more favorable coverage from two Israeli media outlets.
