Trump No Longer Considering Lifting Iran Sanctions

US President Donald Trump announced he is no longer considering lifting sanctions against Iran, following statements by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Trump stated that he had started work on a possible lifting of sanctions but stopped it after an announcement filled with "anger, hate, and detestation."

Khamenei had claimed that his country had "won" the war with the USA and downplayed the impact of US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.
