Syria: Shocking Video of Paramedic Execution in Hospital

A shocking video allegedly showing the execution of a paramedic inside a hospital in Sweida, Syria, has sparked outrage and calls for an independent investigation.

The video, released by local media such as Suwayda24, shows a group of armed men shooting a volunteer paramedic inside the hospital. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights described the incident as a "shocking summary execution."

The violent incidents in the Sweida province began on July 13 and escalated with the intervention of external forces, resulting in the deaths of approximately 1,400 people, including many Druze civilians. Syrian human rights advocates are calling for an independent investigation into the events, questioning the credibility of the committee established by the authorities in Damascus.

Fadel Abdul Ghani, executive director of the Syrian Network for Human Rights, called for an international UN investigation into the violations committed.
