Syria: Over 1,260 Dead in Clashes in Southern Sweida

At least 1,260 people have died in violent clashes between communities in the Sweida province of southern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The clashes, which lasted a week, ended with a ceasefire on Sunday.
Among the dead are 505 fighters and 298 civilians from the Druze community, as well as 408 members of government forces and 35 Sunni Bedouins. Fifteen members of the de facto government forces were killed in Israeli bombings.
The organization reported that it had collected data on other deaths before the ceasefire.
