Khamenei Family Suffers Heavy Losses After Israel-US Attack

The family of Iran's former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has suffered significant losses following an American-Israeli attack on February 28, 2026, in Tehran.
Among the deceased are Khamenei's wife, Mansoureh Khojasteh, his daughter Hoda Khamenei, his son-in-law Mesbah Bagheri Kani, and his daughter-in-law Zahra Haddad-Adel. Grandchildren of Ali Khamenei, including Zahra Mohammadi and two minor family members, were also killed.
The Supreme Leader's son, Mojtaba Khamenei, survived the attack and has been declared the new leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
