Middle East: International mobilization for the Strait of Hormuz

More than 20 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Britain, France, Canada, and Japan, have expressed their readiness to contribute to efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
In a joint statement, they condemned recent Iranian attacks on ships and oil and gas infrastructure, calling for an immediate moratorium on attacks against civilian infrastructure. Germany, Italy, and other European countries are also participating in the statement.
These countries are demanding a global moratorium on attacks against civilian infrastructure.
