Authorities in Kuwait have urged residents to stay in their homes overnight 'for precautionary reasons'.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior informed citizens and foreign residents that it is necessary to remain in their homes and avoid unnecessary movement from midnight on Tuesday, April 7, until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8. The announcement was made via a post on the X platform.

The ministry noted that the measure is being taken 'for precautionary reasons'.
