Kurds Deny Damascus Attackers Originated from Al-Hol Camp

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have rejected claims by the Syrian government that the perpetrators of the attack near Damascus originated from the Al-Hol camp. In a statement, the SDF called the claims "false" and emphasized that they are not based on facts.
The Al-Hol camp, controlled by the SDF, houses approximately 40,000 people, mostly women and children, allegedly linked to the Islamic State (ISIS). The suicide attack on a Greek Orthodox church south of Damascus resulted in the death of 25 people and the injury of 63.
The Syrian Interior Ministry stated that the perpetrators were foreign members of ISIS who came from Al-Hol. The SDF responded that their investigation showed no evidence of foreigners leaving the camp, only Syrians and Iraqis released at the request of the governments of Damascus and Baghdad.
The SDF reiterated their cooperation with the international anti-ISIS coalition and called for a transparent investigation into the attack.
