Israeli Strike Against Islamic Jihad in Gaza

The Israeli army announced it launched a "targeted strike" against Islamic Jihad in the central Gaza Strip, despite a ceasefire. According to the Israeli army, the target was an individual planning attacks against Israeli soldiers.
The Israeli army stated it carried out a precise strike in the Nuseirat area, targeting an Islamic Jihad terrorist planning an imminent attack. Islamic Jihad has not commented on the announcement.
The bombardment hit a car, resulting in four injuries, according to Al-Awda Hospital. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a drone strike the car.
Other witnesses said Israeli tanks bombarded eastern suburbs of Gaza City. The Israeli army states it will continue operations in Gaza to eliminate any immediate threat. A fragile truce is in effect between Israel and Hamas, with mutual accusations of violations.
