According to Israeli Channel 12, Iran has set a series of conditions for ending the war in the Middle East, within the framework of indirect contacts announced by US President Donald Trump. Tehran, however, continues to publicly deny that negotiations with Washington are taking place.

Iranian authorities are demanding guarantees that hostilities will not resume, as well as a new arrangement for the Strait of Hormuz that would place it under Iranian control. They are also demanding the closure of US military bases in the region and financial compensation for damages incurred.

Channel 12 reports that Iran may be willing to suspend its ballistic missile program for five years, reduce uranium enrichment, and discuss its stockpiles of 60% enriched uranium. It could also agree to inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency and stop funding regional proxy groups, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iraqi militias.
