Israel: Missile Launched from Yemen, Likely Intercepted

The Israeli military announced today that a missile launched from Yemen towards Israeli territory was "most likely successfully intercepted."

Israel has threatened the pro-Iranian Houthi organization in Yemen with a naval and air blockade if its attacks continue.

Since the beginning of the war in Gaza in October 2023, the Houthis have launched attacks against Israel and ships in the Red Sea. Israel has responded with a series of strikes.
