Israel: Advance in Gaza City â Evacuation Order
The Israeli army has ordered Palestinians in Gaza City to evacuate the area to the south, ahead of escalating military operations. Israeli forces are advancing into Gaza City, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stating that the city is a stronghold of Hamas.
Army spokesman Avichay Adraee stated that residents should move to a designated coastal area of Khan Yunis, where they will receive humanitarian assistance. Subsequently, the army bombed a tall tower in Gaza City, claiming it was used by Hamas, after warning civilians.
Before the war, approximately one million people lived in Gaza City.
