Israel Announces Limited Opening of Rafah Crossing

Israel has announced a "limited opening" of the Rafah crossing, on the border of the Gaza Strip with Egypt.
The border crossing was scheduled to reopen under the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10.
According to the Israeli Prime Minister's office, as part of President Trump's 20-point plan, Israel has agreed to a limited operation of the crossing exclusively for pedestrians. It also emphasizes that the crossing will be fully controlled by Israel.
