Israel: Eight Injured After Car Hits Bus Stop

Eight people were injured when a car hit a bus stop in central Israel, near Kfar Yona. Israeli police are searching for the driver who fled the scene.

The Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service reported that it provided medical care to eight injured people, including two young adults around 20 years old, and transported them to hospitals.

According to police, the incident occurred at the Beit Lid junction, north of Tel Aviv. Police are conducting searches with the assistance of helicopters and trained dogs.

Violence in the region has escalated since the start of the war in Gaza.
