Israel: Iranian Rocket Hits Apartment Building in Beersheba – Four Dead

At least four people have been killed and several others injured after an Iranian rocket struck an apartment building in Beersheba, southern Israel. Israeli media cite the local first aid service.

The head of the national emergency service, Eli Bin, stated that there are fears that citizens remain trapped in three buildings that sustained severe damage.

Israeli television network ILTV reported that at least three people were rescued from a security room on the fourth floor of a building that took a direct hit. The rescue operation is ongoing, and alarms are sounding for new rocket attacks.

According to estimates by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), between 10 and 15 ballistic missiles were launched from Iran towards Israel on Tuesday morning, in six waves.

The attack comes before a ceasefire agreed upon following US intervention.
