Iran Launches Missile and Drone Attacks on Gulf States: Casualties and Damage Reported

A new wave of Iranian missile and drone attacks has struck Gulf countries. Authorities report two fatalities in Kuwait and damage to a desalination plant in Bahrain.
Kuwait's Interior Ministry announced the deaths of two border guards. The Defense Ministry reported that the initial Iranian attack targeted "fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport." A fire that broke out at the airport was brought under control.
In Bahrain, a desalination plant was hit by an Iranian drone attack. Authorities clarified that the attack did not affect water reserves. Riyadh reported intercepting 33 drones.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that Iran "will be forced to respond" against neighboring countries if their territory is used for attacks against it.
Since the start of the war, Iranian strikes on Gulf countries have resulted in the deaths of 16 people, including eight civilians.
The United Arab Emirates also announced that they are facing a "new attack with drones and missiles from Iran."
