Iran and IAEA Agree to Resume Inspections

Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have reached an agreement to resume inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities. The agreement was reached after a meeting in Cairo between IAEA chief Rafael Grossi and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
Cooperation had been suspended following bombings of nuclear facilities in June, which Iran attributed to Israel and the USA. Esmail Baghaei, a spokesman for Iranian diplomacy, confirmed the agreement.
Rafael Grossi stated that practical ways to resume inspections had been agreed upon, calling the agreement an important step in the right direction.
