Gaza: Only 1.5% of Agricultural Land is Cultivable

Only 1.5% of agricultural land in Gaza is now cultivable, according to a new satellite assessment by the FAO, exacerbating the risk of famine.
As of July 28, only 1.5% (2,320 acres) was accessible and undamaged. Before the conflict, agriculture accounted for 10% of Gaza's economy and affected the lives of a quarter of the population.
FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu is calling for immediate support to restore local food production.
