West Bank: Palestinians Killed in Settler Attacks

Four Palestinians have been killed in attacks in the West Bank attributed to Israeli settlers. Funerals were held in two villages, with Palestinian authorities condemning a "brutal attack."
According to announcements by the Palestinian authorities and the Israeli army, three Palestinians were killed by settlers in the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah. An eyewitness reported that the settlers started throwing stones and then used automatic weapons.
The Vice President of the Palestinian Authority, Hussein al-Sheikh, condemned the attack, while the Israeli army reported that it intervened in the area and that two Palestinians were killed by bullets and one by asphyxiation. Major General Avi Blut, head of the Israeli army in the West Bank, called the incident "unacceptable."
Another Palestinian was killed in a previous attack in the village of Wadi al-Rahim, south of Hebron. According to the French Agency, at least 1,043 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since the start of the war in Gaza.
